The title character of the 2017 American superhero movie Logan is played by Hugh Jackman. Technology breakthroughs in the not-too-distant future have allowed people to relive their memories. With the use of cutting-edge technology, "Memory" enables people to vividly relive their former experiences, savouring their best memories or picking up lessons from their failures. The narrative centres on Sarah, a gifted neuroscientist who co-created Memorance and is portrayed by Emma Stone. She first regarded it as a therapeutic and personal development tool, but Robert, her co-founder (Mark Ruffalo), saw it as a profitable venture. As the CEO of Memorance Inc., he takes advantage of the technology's propensity for addiction.
